album: 12 Months a Year

There are few places I'm happier than on my knees with my hands in the dirt of my own garden. I have an instinct for gardening I shared with my mom. Her gardens were spectacular. People would stop as they walked by just to drink in the beauty of what she had sculpted.

I prefer secret gardens, myself. Whenever I have a house, the back yard inevitably becomes a bower of carefully tended colour and shape. I dream of the day I'll have my own soil again and can return to what I love best: planting poisonous, glorious plants with a giant, mischievous grin on my face.
