TimTTT Another collection that will change the mood of a five hour drive threw a winter storm. Being of fan of Leslie's voice it's strange to listen to so much of her music without it. Enjoyable none the less. Favorite track: Alabaster - The Winter King Mix.

about

I was teaching on Toronto Island and with the kids we would walk to school every day, every season, in all kinds of weather. I was struck by the unique colours of the winter sky over Lake Ontario one winter in particular (2010) and became inspired by those that shared their names with stones.

Each piece was created in the moment of recording, based upon a motif in a particular key, as I channelled the colour/stone pairing in question.

Bob King added guitar (recorded similarly) to tracks 1 and 2 to create The Winter King Mixes, included on this EP as tracks 6 and 7.
